On the spur of the moment (i.e., we realised just how much stuff we’d brought back from Germany this time and panicked!), we’ve decided to have a West German Pottery sale at our house this Saturday, 27th August. We’ll be throwing open the doors to our tiny terrace from 10 til 5. We live in Glossop, which is halfway between Manchester and Sheffield, so anybody willing to travel to there is more than welcome to come along and have a look:

These are just a few photos to show the chaos and the sorting of the pottery. Virtually everything you see in the pictures will be for sale. We’ve got the grand task of photographing and pricing up everything before Saturday.
