Ooooh, how I love to receive a good parcel, or two, or three! Actually, I only received one parcel this week, but my other half received two.  One was a Wade Skip the Dog and the other was this lovely Carstens vase:

Underneath, it reads W.-Germ. E.4-25.  I’ve never actually seen that notation before: the ‘E’ seems to be an addition. I’m hoping someone over at the Pottery and Glass forum might be able to fill me on what it is! I love this pot though – it’s simple but stylish and fits in really well with our living room’s retro green and blueness!

My parcel was this little Italian dish:

It’s the one I mentioned a few posts back that I was watching on Ebay.  I actually missed it the first time round, but the seller relisted it – luckily for me! I’m quite pleased with it.  I like the shell design in the middle. I’m wondering what to do with it though? The other one we use when we eat olives to put the pips in. At the moment, they’re both sitting on the hearth in the living room where I can admire them.  Any suggestions for new locations would be gratefully received!
