I really, really wanted to blog about this the other night but I couldn’t as I’d decided to keep it as a Valentine’s gift for Aidan.

I had a feeling on me when I was on the train that I should go to Oxfam in Glossop. I honestly remember thinking to myself, “Hmmmm, haven’t looked for a while; there might be a West German pot…”

Lo and behold, there this little beauty was waiting on the shelf.  There was another vaguely indie-looking woman in the shop who pretty much stared me down as I picked it up. Haha! Too late, fellow eagle-eyed lover of retro goodies – this one’s mine! I also grabbed a Meakin sugar bowl for 59p, but that one’s destined for the car boot pile and isn’t really worth a pic.
