..Deutschland to Derbyshire.
We’re back.
The house is full.
Aidan has just pointed out that I don’t really have time for a blog but I just can’t resist: the sheer scale of what we have returned with from this trip is phenomenal.

Note the glass head back right; at the moment, we think it might be a very rare Frank Thrower Dartington head! Found in a German junk shop… wonder how it got there?

As you can probably tell from the amount here, the car was ever so slightly full! We were a bit worried going over any bumps. Enjoy the pictures – I’ll be adding posts about individual pots in the near future.
I want the table on the left in the last photo! Where ever did you get it?
A random flea market in Germany. We went to that many, I can’t remember the actual place!
It’s unbelievable that you got all that in your KA, Emma. You have some fantastic finds. I love the Carstens Luxus lamp and also the tiles. But there are so many other wonderful items. Congratulations.
Stuart
Thanks Stuart – we’re getting very good at packing pots within pots and bear in mind that a KA is essentially a box on wheels. No fancy gadgets or extras taking up space! We found some lovely stuff this time, really pleased. Probably our best journey and findings yet.
Wow what a stash! Very impressive!
Oh my god! You need a warehouse!
It is a bit mad here at the moment! Not much space for us now, never mind the pots.
Your collection of stuff is extraordinary and I am seriously coveting all your stuff. I want to move in with you.
You wouldn’t say that if you could see the amount of junk we have as well! Glad you like it 🙂
Unbelievable ! What a score. May I ask where in Germany did you find all this ? I am definitely going there on my next vacation 😉
This was the best I ever managed to do : http://www.flickr.com/photos/fatcatbrussels/4532237576/in/set-72157623793219402/ – which totally sucks in comparison…
I’d like to say that the streets there are paved with West German pottery! But no, it was the result of two weeks of trawling around every flea market (it seemed!) in Germany. You’ve got some good pieces – I like the black and red Jopeko planter. We’ve got one of those too. We did have a set of them but we sold it – might be one of my regrets!
Hi there,
just stumbled upon your blog & I have to say…It’s blooming marvellous!
Happy new year!
…xXx
Glad you like it! Just been to look at yours and left a few comments – you’ve got some amazing things on there! Emma 🙂
